The first thing
you will notice is that when the scene first loads, the main ballroom floor
is below the default camera view. This was done to make it easier to place
your figures in the gallery sections to the left and right. To set your figure
on the main ballroom floor, set the 'Y axis' to -185.7 and the figure will
be place on the main floor. See Coordinate Map
and detail for X, Y, Z coordinates for all the tables, chairs, stool
locations (For Daz|Studio only).
We are sure you
will be able to quickly adjust to the different levels. To help understand
the layout, when the scene is first loaded, you are viewing the back wall
with the right balcony to the right and the left balcony on the left. The
"front wall" is behind you. The main dancer's stage is directly below.
The Gentleman's
Club scene does not have any scene lights included. There were just too many
light fixtures and options to add this at the time of this release. However,
scene lighting will be available soon as add-ons. Be sure to check the Meshworks
site periodicaly for these updates.
Ideally, the
Gentleman's Club should be a low lit enviroment that the default lighting
is will not give. It is recommended to add down oriented spotlights to the
entry foyers and a spotlight on each of the spot light props to initially
light your scen. You can also add a few point lights in front of the wall
lamp fixtures. Included with this readme file is a complete map for setting
lights in your scene. Click here to see the Coordinate
Map for Lights (For Daz|Studio only).
In general, lights
added after the first 5 are ignored until the scene is rendered. So, place
lights that will actually appear in your renders. Most all wall and hanging
lights can easily be flipped from one side to the other by changing the 'X
axis' from negitive to positive and vise-versa.
Many of the features
in the Gentleman's club are parented together in a logical order that allow
greater flexibility when setting up your scene. For example; The roof AND
ceiling can be turned off to allow for a bird's eye view of the club. This
will allow for easier positiong of your figures. Walls can also be turned
on and off.
In this release,
all the doors are static and non-positionable. Future add-ons will include
updated wall sections with openable doors. When adding the Barstools to your
scene, stool #1 is turned off. This is intentional as a stool #7 (non-existant)
would be directly in front of the Drink Prep area. Stool #1 is optional. |
