1978 Dodge Cobra Is a vintage recreation
vehicle prop for Poser and Daz Studio. Unlike many of my KPL products, this
item will not be low-res or simple in design. This will have a ton of detailed
components and will feature lots of movable parts and optional mat
files.
Beta version released to select Daz forum and
free3dcontent.net members.

Directory Structures |
Creating a
logical file structure |
 |
Step by step
directions for creating a clutter free Poser or Daz directory system. Included
are several zip files and instructions for fixing items that can't locate
the needed object and texture files. If you have had either program for a
year or more, then you know what you mean about the poser directories.
I like my files
nice, neat and in a logical order. Let me give you a tip on what I do. The
first thing is I never unzip a new item to it's default directory. Many,
many of these zips are not configured correctly. I created a directory called
'ziptemp' in the poser content folder and unzip everything there. I can then
open my file manager and move them manually to the correct locations. This
seems like more work, but it's definitely worth it. I rename many of the
files.
My pet-pev are
generically named readme.txt files and always rename them to give a better
description, such as V3_Sara-readme.txt or Dyald_Short Bob Hair-readme.txt
and put them all in the ReadMe's folder. Also, I don't use the typical layout
Poser uses. There are certain files like Geometries and textures that have
to be in the right place. But many of the Poser files (pp2, ppz, hr2, fc2
and cr2's) can be put where you need them. |

| The AVA
Project |
An Interactive
Operating System Interface |
 |
The AVA project
goal is to create an interactive Operating System Interface (OSI) to replace
the current, antiquated icon/window environment we are all too familiar with.
The technologies are out there and waiting for us to take the next step in
computing. The intent is to get us away from the desktop or laptop environment
of confinement and complacency.
This new open
source OSI will feature a voice responsive Automated Virtual Assistant
(AVA) to do the actual computing tasks. The version 'A' female character,
affectionately known as AVA, will be the interface between the user and the
computer. She will handle everything from simple dictation of documents,
to personal schedules, to complex computing tasks.
The computer
won't change much... Just how we use it.
Ava is still
very much in the design phase with some conceptual designs and animations.
If you would like to help with this project (and/or hate windows products),
send me an email and let me know what you want to work on. There are so many
facets to this project that one person can't do it alone. |

Livingroom Stage
Set 1 |
This project
is an on-going endeavor to create many accuratly detailed, low polygon
environments for use in DAZ Studio. The sets are designed to accept your
favorite characters and other props for realistic renders or animations.
These are not 2D backgrounds, but static (non-positionable) stage props just
like you would find in actual production studios.
All the objects
are created in Metasequia and imported into DAZ Studio and saved as a Scene
file ready to be loaded. Some items are converted into pz3 and pp2 props
that can be used in other stage sets.
Sets will include;
Every room in a typical house, a Subway station, Airplane compartment, Sci-fi
scenes, Night clubs, Parking garages, various Public venues, and anything
else that can be thought of. |
