Thank you for purchasing this product.

I am sure it is obvious that this has been modelled based on the 2013 movie 'Oblivion' starring Tom Cruise and Andrea Riseborough. The name Horizons comes from the unpublished graphic novel written by the movies director, Joseph Kosinski. If you haven't seen this movie, you can read a good synopsis at this website (spoiler alert). However, I would highly recommend seeing this great sci-fi movie.

Description: The SkyCopter, also known as a Bubbleship, is the primary mode of transportation for the Resource Gatherer Support teams. A mix of a Bell helicopter and a jet fighter, makes this craft extremely versatile and maneuverable. It is also capable of low-orbit space travel.

Mk1 features opening cockpit doors, retractable landing gear, panable cockpit, tail rotor spin, rotateable engine pods and winglets connected to the rudder pedals (when using ERC sliders).

This model was started by someone else, but was redesigned, textured and poserized by MeshWorks. I trust you will find my attention to detail in this re-creation to your satisfaction. As always, if you find discrepancies, let me know through the 'Contact Us' on the MeshWorks homepage.

Instructions:

Loading the SkyCopter-
The SkyCopter loads at the default center. If you are using the Horizons SkyHab, you can use the supplied MatPose to place the SkyCopter on the Landing Pad Turnstile.

ERC Controls
All ERC sliders can be located on the main body of the figure.

Landing; Landing Gear can be controlled by 'RetractGear' slider to smoothly stow the gear under the fuselage just like seen in the Oblivion movie. Each leg can be controlled separately. It's best to use the slider only and not the individual leg transforms.

Cockpit; Doors and Cockpit Pan can be controlled by slider.

Flight Controls; These controls operate the Engine Pods, Winglets, Peddles in tandem. Also the Tail Rotor spin/blur which is an alternate geometry.

MatPose Controls
SkyCopter Gear Down and Stowed control files are supplied in the Pose folder for those that can't access the landing gear ERC controls. Again, it's best to use the ERC slider only and not the individual leg transforms.

Place SkyCopter...; This moves the SkyCopter to the SkyHab's landing pad. If you want to rotate the SkyCopter with the Turnstile, parent to the Landing Pad Turnstile. Optionally, select the BODY of the SkyHab 1- Main Floor, to automatically parent the the Turnstile.

How to's:

Add-ons-
Select the BODY of the SkyCopter to automatically parent them.

Cockpit HUD-
This adds a Heads-up-display prop to the Cockpit. Several display styles are available including; Auto-Return, Downloading, Flight, Standby, Targeting, Warning and Default.

Tail Graphics-
This is a decal prop for the Tech designation. Select the BODY of the SkyCopter before loading. The decals are a separate prop and can be modified using the 'TechGraphics#' and 'TechGraphics-trans' images in the /textures/MeshWorks/Horizons/SkyHab/ folder. All decals are for Tech team 57. Watch for other themes and templates at the MeshWorks website.

UV Maps and Textures-
This figure is UV mapped and will accept a variety of textures such as camouflage or custom paint themes.

NOTE: Daz Studio users
Because D|S (still) doesn't recognize Reflection and Smoothing from cr2 and pz2 files, it is important to use the 'default' mats on each figure loaded in your scene. In the Materials folder, both pz2 and dsa files are provided.
